Open the demo store

Shopify development stores require a password screen before you can view the storefront.

Sign up on the out-of-stock widget

On the sold-out product page, enter your email in the Back in Stock notification widget. Use an address where you can receive the test email.

Use the same email in step 3. The widget signup is what creates the waitlist record.

Trigger the demo restock email

Enter the same email address you used in the widget. This sends a simulated restock signal so the app can send the customer notification email.

Why the demo works this way: the app intentionally keeps Shopify permissions small. Instead of requesting write inventory access just for a demo restock, this page triggers the notification step directly after your waitlist signup. That keeps the app scope smaller while still showing the real customer email flow.

This demo is rate-limited and only works for emails that signed up on the demo store's sold-out product.
